5 inch FPV drone flight practice… Who else loves this kind of skill?

Check out this awesome FPV drone flight! I’m sure you’ll enjoy watching. Feel free to share your thoughts on how it’s done or if you’re into FPV flying yourself.

Wow, absolutely amazing skill! The turns are so sudden, they really surprise you. You’ve got the ability to make a viewer feel the thrill of a backwards or inverted roll. That’s next-level flying. Honestly, I wish I had just a fraction of your talent… Phenomenal .

@Gray
Thank you

@Gray
Watched it again. I can’t stop. Seriously cool stuff.

Thinking of getting into FPV but I’m wondering… does flying for a long time make your eyes hurt from having a screen so close to them?

VR headsets can cause headaches or nausea sometimes. But the good news is, your body can adjust to it with time. Just make sure you don’t push yourself too hard. If you feel sick, take a break and try again later.

I haven’t had that issue. The battery doesn’t last too long anyway, so you won’t be flying for hours at a stretch. If you like it, just jump in and start flying!

The goggles have lenses, so you don’t need to focus really close, which helps with the discomfort.

That was sick .

Follow me, I’ll be doing even crazier stuff next time.

Wow .

You flew that 5 inch like it was a 3 inch.

Really? Thanks .

How do I learn to fly FPV? What drone should I start with?

If you’re new to FPV, I build my drones myself. But if you’re just starting out, a DJI drone could be a good way to get some practice. Once you’re comfortable, you can move on to building your own drone.

@Lake
I’m completely new. Are there any specific DJI models you recommend?

@Lake
I wouldn’t recommend DJI for beginners. I’ve heard they’re expensive to fix and not very durable.

I’d suggest the Avata2. It’s pretty good for beginners.

My advice is not to go straight for an FPV racing drone if you’re a beginner. The controls can be tricky.
