Anyone else have the MOST recall mess up their system?

This is about the MOST recall that was supposed to fix things but ended up causing more problems. Does anyone else go through this?

Feels like a ‘look how they ruined my car’ moment.

I literally screamed ‘my poor baby’ when I realized what happened. :sob:

They need to use every bit of their skills to fix this.

We have the technology… we could make it stronger, better, faster. If only they’d actually do it right.

Been there, done that. Fixing the floor harness helped for me.

Really? I heard the recall is supposed to fix it completely. :thinking:

Did they at least find that missing McDonald’s fry under the seat?

Nope, but they found a McNugget instead. :joy:

With four kids, I don’t even want to think about what’s under those seats. :sweat_smile:

@Oak
Surprise… it’s a fifth kid under there! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

:joy::joy::joy: Also, nope. Hard pass. :nauseated_face:

I have a 2019 Odyssey. Got the MOST recall done, and it caused more problems than it fixed. I never had any issues before, but after the recall, my system kept showing errors and rebooting. I have an aftermarket amp and sub, so I knew Honda would just blame that. Turns out, the sub vibrations loosened the fakra connector after they worked on it. I ended up fixing it myself by redoing the connection and straightening the cables. Lucky me.

This is exactly why I didn’t want the recall done on my 2018 Touring. No issues before, so why mess with it?

Completely agree. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. They just added extensions to the cables, which caused my problem. If you ever have issues, let them deal with it then.

Let’s just hope they don’t leave any parts out when putting everything back together.
