I’m feeling really good today. Just passed my Part 107 test with a 90%! It took me a week of studying—around 15 hours total. I used YouTube videos, the FAA study guide, and lots of practice tests. Most of the test was on sectional charts, which were pretty straightforward. Luckily, there weren’t any weather questions since I struggled with cloud types during practice.
I’ve submitted my application and am waiting for the temporary certificate. The full one should come in the mail soon. Just wanted to share my excitement here. Anyone else working on this?
If you’re preparing for the Part 107 test, make sure to check the guides available in this forum. They’re super helpful and might answer some of your questions.

Congrats! I’m taking a UAS class in high school, and we’re all taking the Part 107 test for free in about a month. Super excited!
That’s amazing that it’s free for you! Mine cost $175, so I was stressed about the idea of failing. Studying with two toddlers running around wasn’t easy, but it all worked out in the end .

Could you share the videos and study guides you used?
Sure! I used this video: https://youtu.be/6_ucCKFJUCU. There’s also a study guide linked in the video description. I paired it with the FAA study guide.
