Anyone have any idea what drone brand this is?

There was this company called Helipal that used to sell lots of drones and parts about 10 years ago. Most of their drones had ‘Storm’ in the name somewhere. I tried to look them up, but it seems the website’s gone.

@Winter
Ah, got it. So does that mean finding the original instructions for this kit is unlikely?

Looks kind of like a Tiny Hawk frame, but I’m not totally sure.

I checked it out, and while it looks similar, you actually have to program this one as a project, whereas Tinyhawks come already built. Plus, this one has ‘Storm’ written on top—does that make any difference?

Found these links on ‘Storm’ brand stuff:

It’s hard to find much, though, without a dedicated site. Some of these seem more like DIY projects?

Maybe Lego?

If it’s got those red JST connectors, it’s probably from before 2018. Most people flying drones now use BT2.0 or XT30 connectors instead.

Isn’t that a tiny Nazgul? Looks like one.

Aren’t those normally sold pre-built?

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard. Still, the frame looks similar… did you get it secondhand?

Could be. Not sure if they had anything specific to just their drones or if they used standard parts.

Maybe there’s a model number on it somewhere, like in the battery slot?

I’ve looked everywhere for that, but no luck finding a model. All it has is ‘Storm’ on top. Searching online hasn’t helped either.

@Theresa1
No FCC or CE mark info anywhere?

Nope, but I just noticed it says ‘VM2751’ near the camera. Could that mean anything?

Google says that’s a camera model. It’s possible this is a custom-built drone.

@Bran
Hmm, if instructions are unavailable, would it be doable to put it together without them?

There’s a QR code on it, right? Maybe that leads somewhere useful. Just preview the link before opening.

@Bran
The QR code just brings up a string of numbers. I feel like there should be a site where it recognises the drone model, but I have no clue how to find it.
