Anyone know how to find a labor lawyer quickly

I’m in a bit of a rush to find a labor lawyer to review my case. I have until October 7th to decide between taking a 2-week severance or pursuing other action. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice?

Have you tried reaching out to any local firms? Sometimes smaller firms are quicker to respond.

Good luck! Smaller firms usually give more personalized attention. Let us know how it goes!

What kind of action are you thinking about pursuing if you don’t take the severance?

Still figuring it out, but it depends on what the lawyer advises. Just want to make the right call.

Totally understand. Weighing options is tough. Hope the lawyer can guide you well.

Wait, what’s a 2-week severance? Is that like a payout?

Yeah, it’s basically a payment your employer gives you when you leave. Usually depends on your contract.

Oh, gotcha. Thanks for explaining. Makes sense now!

I’d recommend not waiting too long to decide. Lawyers can take a while to get back to you sometimes.

Yeah, that’s my worry too. Trying to stay on top of it!

Exactly. Deadlines like this can sneak up on you. Best of luck!
