Anyone know if Baptist School in Muskegon uses ACE?

My 14-year-old grandson really wants to go to Baptist School in Muskegon, Michigan, and he’s asking me to pay his tuition. Before I decide, I’m trying to find out if they use the ACE curriculum. I used it when homeschooling my kids and liked it a lot. I’ve been calling the school for the past two days but haven’t been able to get through. Does anyone know if there’s a better way to contact them or if they use ACE?

Not sure if they use ACE specifically, but a lot of Baptist schools do. Maybe try sending them an email?

That’s a good idea, thanks! I’ll see if I can find their email address on their website.

Yeah, email usually works faster than calling, especially if they’re busy. Good luck!

What’s the ACE curriculum? I’m not familiar with it.

It’s a Christian curriculum that focuses on individualized, self-paced learning. Great for kids who like working independently.

Oh, got it. So, it’s more like workbook-based learning?

Exactly! It’s mostly workbooks with built-in quizzes and tests. Simple but effective.

You should also ask about their teaching style. Even if they use ACE, some schools follow it differently.

Good call! I’ll ask about how they implement it if I get in touch with them. Thanks!

I’ve heard of schools using a mix of ACE and other curricula. They might not be 100% ACE but still similar.

That’s interesting. I didn’t think about a mixed approach. I’ll ask the school if that’s the case. Thanks for mentioning it!

Have you tried calling during their office hours? Early mornings or late afternoons usually work best.

I haven’t tried early mornings yet. I’ll give it a go tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion!
