Anyone know the brand of this drone?

There used to be a company about 10 years ago called helipal that sold all sorts of drones and parts. They often used the word “storm” in the names. I tried searching for them now, but it looks like their website doesn’t exist anymore.

This kinda looks like a Tiny Hawk frame, but I can’t be sure.

Just checked it out, and yeah it’s close, but Tiny Hawks usually come fully built, right? This one is supposed to be put together like a project. It also has “Storm” written across the top, if that helps.

Here are a couple of links:

I’m not seeing much info on an official website, but “Storm” seems to be an actual brand. Some of these look more like DIY kits, maybe?

Is it maybe a Leggo?

It’s probably from before 2018. That’s when I started flying, and by then, people had mostly moved away from those red JST connectors. Nowadays, folks are using connectors like BT2.0 or XT30s for toothpick drones.

Could it be a tiny nazgul? Looks similar to me.

Maybe check for a model number on it, like inside the battery compartment?

I tried looking, but I didn’t find any model numbers. The only thing I see is the word “Storm” on the top, and that doesn’t seem to help much when I search.

@Clayton
No FCC or CE label either?

Nothing like that. Just noticed it says “VM2751” above the camera. Think that could be a lead?

VM2751 seems to be the camera model, from what I can find. It might just be a custom build too.

@Hadi
Got it. If there really aren’t any instructions, do you think it’s still possible to figure it out without them?

There’s a QR code on it. Maybe try scanning it—it might pull up some info. Just be ready to preview it first before opening anything.

@Hadi
When I scanned it, it just pulled up a long number. I think it’s supposed to connect to some website that knows exactly what model you have, but I have no idea where to start with that.
