Yep, I take CoQ10 mainly for joint health. It also helps me with muscle recovery after workouts and reduces water retention in my legs. There’s some weak evidence it might help prevent cardiovascular disease, but it’s not strong enough to be in official health guidelines. It could also help with memory as you get older, but the evidence there is even less convincing.
I have mild arthritis in my knees, and I take statins because of my genetics, which makes the pain worse. It’s more annoying than unbearable. CoQ10 completely takes away the joint pain for me. I also noticed faster recovery after long hikes once I started taking it.
