Anyone use Walmart’s Spring Valley supplements? Are they safe?

I’ve been looking at Walmart’s Spring Valley brand since they’re super affordable. They seem decent, but I’m worried about things like correct dosages and possible contamination. Anyone know if they’re lab-tested or safe? Any thoughts on their quality?

If it’s not USP certified, I wouldn’t trust it.

Walmart does sell Nature Made, and a lot of their stuff is USP certified, so that could be a safer choice.

Totally agree! Spring Valley is not reliable—just a quick search online shows why. I stick to Nature Made for the same reason, it’s verified.

If you have a ConsumerLab subscription, they’ve actually tested some Spring Valley products. Everything I’ve checked so far passed their tests.

I’ve used a few Spring Valley supplements myself and thought they were fine… anyone else have thoughts?

I take Spring Valley’s B12 and D3 from Walmart. I get blood tests yearly for B12 and D levels, and they always check out, so I feel like they’re working. Since I’m vegan, if they didn’t work, I’d be deficient by now. For my multivitamin, though, I go with Nature Made Multi for Him, which is USP certified. All three cost me around 11 cents a day.

For lutein, try adding foods like romaine lettuce or zucchini. They’re high in lutein naturally.

None for me. Spring Valley’s made in China and isn’t third-party tested. Just doesn’t feel safe enough.
