Best gifts for 1 year olds?

I am looking for the perfect gift for my best friend’s 1-year-old but I am not sure what to get. I want something fun and unique that she doesn’t already have. What are your favorite children’s toys or accessories?

Thanks!

A large package of construction paper, large washable crayons, and washable markers are always my go-to gifts for first birthdays. I also added a bubble machine for birthdays that fall in warm weather. I used this one I think it’s helpful :innocent: :innocent:

My child cherished the doll and push animal that I got her. For children, these are a good option.

I prefer a Skip Hop Scooter? They help to promote balance and coordination.

Around the age of one, I gave my youngest a harmonica. He would casually play it, blowing into it while pottering around, or joining in when my partner played the guitar. You can find kids’ harmonicas with only one row of holes, so it doesn’t sound bad if they’re just playing around with it. Now, at 11, I recently watched him perform on the trumpet at a local music club or orchestra concert. I don’t think the harmonica was solely responsible, but he’s always been a pretty musical kid.

Hello, when choosing a gift for a 1 year old, it is also important to consider the safety, developmental appropriateness, and the child’s interests, but the best gift to give a 1 year old is a either a doll for a baby girl or a toy car for a boy.

That is nice of you! all I can recommend for to get that year-old LO is Skip Hop Scooter. They’re good for helping to promote balance and coordination.

Choose toys made from safe materials, such as BPA-free plastic or natural wood.

For any kid under 3, I always buy light-catching glass ornaments that reflect a rainbow on the wall when hung in a kid’s room. Parents love the gift because it’s unbreakable, lasts forever, and the rainbow effect looks cool and is a bit educational.

I remember searching for the perfect gift for my niece’s first birthday and wanting to find something fun, unique, and special that she didn’t already have. After a lot of searching and asking around, I stumbled upon a personalized storybook. It turned out to be an absolute hit! The book featured her name and even had illustrations that resembled her and her family.

Seeing her parents’ joy as they read the story to her, and watching her react to hearing her own name in a book, was incredibly rewarding. It was not only a fun and interactive gift but also something she could cherish as she grew older. Personalized gifts, especially those that encourage reading and family bonding, can be both unique and memorable. If you’re looking for a special gift for your best friend’s 1-year-old, I highly recommend considering a personalized storybook it’s a thoughtful present that stands out from typical toys.
