Can we all take a moment for a lost hero out on the course?

Lost my favorite club today… can’t believe it’s gone.

Sounds like it’s time for a new putter and driver then!

Don’t think I can get that launch angle with just a putter though…

Just need to find a way to get that loft working with what you’ve got!

You know it… that’s how it’s done.

It was freezing cold when it happened too, no joke.

So do we give it an F or an RIP?

How about FRIP?

If it’s just the head that’s come off, a pro shop can usually glue it back on. Happened to a few of my clubs over the years—once fixed, they’re like new!

Unless the ferrule slipped and just went down to the end of the shaft, it looks like the shaft might have broken in the hosel. That’s a bigger job, but still doable at most shops. Had it happen on an iron once, but I ended up getting a newer set of used clubs instead for around the same cost as repairs.

Need some duct tape to hold it together?

Same thing happened to me last summer. Ended up finding some used S300 shafts and got my whole set reshafted.

Nah, just bury it out there and get a replacement as soon as possible!

So if you’re holding the club head in your hand, is it now a ‘hand iron’ and can you throw the ball instead?

Wow, saying this on Veterans Day? Really not the time, bud.
