Hi everyone, I’m looking for fully funded scholarships, specifically for a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Any suggestions or tips would be really appreciated!
I’m applying for a scholarship with a deadline on January 15, 2025. Maybe check deadlines carefully to make sure you don’t miss any?
Have you tried checking out ScholarHive? It’s worth a look for sure.
I think I’ve seen a few options out there, but they’re pretty competitive. Are you looking for local or international ones?
Check my comment history. I’ve shared a list of some full-ride undergraduate scholarships in the U.S. that might be helpful.
If you live in a big city, even the local scholarships can be tough to get. Lots of people applying for the same ones.
Finding fully funded scholarships is really tough. When you do find them, they’re super hard to win. I’d suggest looking for smaller local scholarships, anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000. They’re easier to win, and they add up over time. I used FastWeb for most of mine. Scholarships360 is another good option. Also, just search your county or state with the word ‘scholarship,’ and you’ll likely find some local ones. Hope this helps!

How do you think FastWeb compares to sites like Bold, Niche, or ScholarshipOwl?

In my experience, sites like Bold, Niche, and ScholarshipOwl focus too much on no-essay scholarships, which are almost impossible to win because everyone applies. FastWeb and Scholarships360 are better because they have more essay-based scholarships. The harder the application, the better your chances since fewer people apply. They also list smaller local ones that are less competitive. Definitely worth using those over the bigger sites.
Thanks for all the advice. Just to clarify, I’m looking for scholarships for a bachelor’s in any engineering field.
