Does Masturbation Affect Prostate Cancer Risk?

The Truth About Masturbation and Prostate Cancer

TL;DR at the end.

Seriously, do we need to keep seeing the same posts about this?

Instead of spreading misinformation, check out articles like this one: Ladbible Article.

If you want to stop NoFap, just do it, but stop sharing baseless claims here. As a doctor, I want to make it clear: masturbation has no proven link to prostate cancer. It neither increases nor decreases cancer risk. It’s sex that might reduce stress, potentially impacting cancer risk, but this varies from person to person. Someone who has never had sex isn’t necessarily at risk for cancer.

Focus on more significant health issues like smoking, drinking, or drug use, which are far more harmful than NoFap. If you’re serious about health, exercise regularly, which is proven to benefit well-being.

If you still don’t believe me, do what you want, but remember, you might not get a second chance to fix things.

Stay strong and focus on improving your life. Ignore the nonsense and aim for a better future. Mods, please prevent such posts in this sub.

TL;DR: Masturbation does not impact prostate cancer risk. If NoFap boosts your confidence and helps you focus, stick with it despite the rumors.

Edit: Apologies for any grammatical errors I’m typing this quickly after a stressful day. If you doubt my credentials, that’s your choice. I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions. Also, don’t get hung up on the Ladbible reference; it was just an example. This post is meant to address recurring doubts in the community.

Thanks for the article, Doc, and especially for the line about ‘Quit jerking to some Instagram bitches.’ That was a much-needed wake-up call and a great motivation boost for me.

You’re not a doctor, and this post addressed the issue in a much clearer and more logical way.

Why should I worry about your opinion of me? I’ve already mentioned that if you don’t believe what I say, you can leave my post. I could share the same research, but I prefer to share my own perspective instead of someone else’s findings.

He’s obviously a doctor, just look at the way he speaks.
