Extend Display Windows 11 [Separate TV and Monitor]

Hello guys, I would like to have my gaming controller be used on the TV on the sofa and the keyboard/mouse to be used on my monitor. Is this possible? I have already set up JoyToKey to use my gaming controller to control the PC; now I just need to find a way to ‘separate’ the keyboard/mouse for the monitor and the gaming controller for the TV. Thank you!

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The displays don’t matter in relevance to a keyboard or mouse; it matters which application is currently focused. The currently focused application receives input from any device at that time. The only real way around this would be native support within the game/application itself, and would be the same running application but with two displays (a native multiplayer game).

You might be able to set up separate user accounts for each display and switch between them, but it’s not a perfect solution. Each account would have its own settings.

That sounds complicated. Is there an easier way to manage inputs?

If your game supports it, some games allow you to set different input methods for different players. You could use a second instance of the game if it supports local multiplayer.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
