Finally cracked the golf code

I dropped my handicap from 22 to 14 this year but hit a rough patch two months ago when I lost my swing. Good news, after a lesson and two range sessions, I’ve totally cracked golf. Won’t be around much, too busy prepping for the tour. If you see posts from my account denying this, assume I was hacked!

I also managed to crack it

@Finley
Impressive improvement! Was it the course difficulty or just a bad round that caused the +35?

@Kim
Works for me!

@Finley
That’s truly spectacular!

I’ve seen big improvements too ever since I stopped slicing my drives. If only every fairway had a cart path at the perfect distance…

Nothing makes you feel more like a pro than golfing with your kid. My little one thinks my average drives are tour-worthy. Managed an 86 on a short course, but it wasn’t pretty!

@Bevin
Give it a few years, and you might be the one getting lessons from him!

He’s naturally gifted, and I don’t push him too hard. He’s enthusiastic, and if he keeps at it, he’ll definitely outplay me soon.

@Bevin
Focus on the short game and keep it fun. That’s the key.

He loves driving but struggles with putting. I keep telling him how many strokes he could save with better putting. He did make his first bogey with a great chip last weekend!

USKids Golf starts at age six. It’s a great way to introduce them to competition without too much pressure.

I’m cautious about pushing him into competitive golf too soon. Lessons are an option, but they’re an investment.

Check out The First Tee. It’s another great resource for young golfers.

You had me in the first half there!

Now that you’ve figured it all out, it’s time for new irons, right? You’ll need them on your new golf tour.

Great idea! Maybe I should wait for those sponsorship calls first?

I had a month of great golf and then lost my swing. It’s a merciless game.

Started the season at 21, got down to 13, and felt unstoppable. By end of May, I was back to 19. It’s a constant cycle of relearning.
