My colleague at work has now on several occasions experienced that people’s signatures under emails would change to nonsense. For example, the email ends with:
Kind regards, try hard
Or:
Kind regards, thingamajig
Instead of the person’s name beneath the ‘Kind regards.’
When she reloads the page it displays the correct name. Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to stop this from happening?
Email signature display glitch in Gmail - refresh page to show correct names. Likely a temporary rendering/caching issue. Try clearing browser cache if persistent.

We technically do that regularly here at work, but tried again just now. Since this doesn’t occur at all times but only sporadically we can’t know just yet if that did the trick. I’ll update the post if it did.
I setup mine with a funny YouTube name. 3 years on I’ve realized, I’m using a not very professional sounding name that goes to anybody I send an email to.
You might also try turning off all ‘Smart Compose’ options within ‘settings.’ Leave on only autocorrect for spelling and grammar.
