Has anyone else had their DJI Mini 4K delayed at customs?

Hey folks, I ordered the DJI Mini 4K on Amazon on November 30, expecting it to arrive between December 5-10. It finally shipped on December 3 around 11 pm, but right after that, the tracking stopped and it said it’s delayed at customs, and it’s been like that all day.

I’m not sure what to do. I’ve already waited a while, and I don’t want to cancel and risk this happening again, but I really need the drone before I leave for my Christmas vacation.

Has anyone had this happen before or know what’s going on? Any info would be really helpful.

I had the same experience. Was it sold by ‘Haydon Photographic’? It could be a scam, unfortunately. You might want to report it to Amazon.

Yeah, that’s the same seller. Not sure if it’s a scam yet though.

I ordered from that seller too. Mine arrived after 10 days, and it sat in customs for just a minute. Then it was delivered the next day.

Wait, so it was stuck in customs for just one day, and then it got delivered while still showing as being in customs?

Oh no, it stayed in customs for five days before it got out for delivery.

Actually, it arrived two days earlier than expected.

Amazon’s a bit of a minefield. Even if something arrives, there’s a high chance it’s fake. Shopping there can be risky.

I think it’s more of a customs issue with drones right now, not really Amazon’s fault.

I get that. But Amazon overall has a lot of dodgy stuff. I’ve had issues with things like SD cards arriving fake because of how they store stock.

Oh man, I just ordered from them too. Was a bit suspicious, but I’ve never had an issue with Amazon before.

Same here. I even ordered the drone directly from the DJI store on Amazon, so I didn’t expect any problems.

Maybe try again? My drone eventually arrived safely from the same seller.

It was stuck in customs for a few days, then suddenly went straight out for delivery two days early. It didn’t show delivered until the next day though, which was odd. But it arrived safely.

It took 10 days from order to delivery. A friend of mine tried to order one, and it’s now a 3-week wait on Amazon.
