I work in a golf shop, and recently a customer asked about some irons he bought years ago. I’ve usually seen the Nike logo near the toe of the club, but his had it right in the middle, which I haven’t seen before.
@Ellery
This person knows their stuff about Nikes. I had a set of Pro Combos too and I really liked them

I thought the 3 iron in the pro combo set was fully cavity backed. Only the 9, W, and SW were blades.
@Rowan
There were several different versions of Pro Combos over the years.

I got a really clean set of Pro Combos with Pro Modus 120s from a seller in Japan. They look barely used. Can’t wait to try them out next season.
@Rory
I also found a set of Pro Combos for next year, mine have S300s. They’re missing the 7i, so I’m thinking of using a Nike forged blade 7 bent 1 degree strong to match the 8/9/pw since it looks similar. I’ve been unable to find the exact Tour 7i style anywhere else.
@Neo
How much did you pay for those? I’ve got a set of VR Forged Pro Combos from around 2013 that I’ve been thinking of selling but haven’t because shipping them from a big city is a hassle. They range from 3i-pw.
@Ellery
Did you redo the paint on your logo? My black faded after a couple of years. I played with them in all chrome until paint filling became a thing, and then I did mine in red, white, and blue because America.
@Mai
I got this set of 3-pw and only needed to touch up the logo on three of them. This one was surprisingly fine. You should see the wear marks on the 8-Pw, the previous owner really knew how to hit them flush.
I don’t know much about Nike irons. But that logo placement seems odd to me…

It looks like it was just drawn on with a marker?

Yes, the edges are rough and the fill is bad

Looks like a Niek logo that says, ‘Just Do It.’
That’s definitely a fake

That club is so poorly made it’s ridiculous. It looks like it came from a factory that makes fakes.

Looks like they finished it with 60 grit sandpaper.

At first, I didn’t think it was that bad. Then I took a closer look. It really is that bad. Looks like it was carved by someone with no finesse.

They really do look like official Nike irons.
