How much would it cost to build an indoor basketball court in my backyard?

My friend and I are planning to build a basketball facility and want to estimate the costs. We’re considering a steel or wooden structure, a full-size NCAA court (hardwood or multipurpose), 2 movable basketball hoops like those used in the NBA, a rebounding machine, and possibly a small weightlifting area. We already have the land. Any insights or cost estimates from similar projects?

How does this sound?

Building an indoor basketball court in your backyard can cost between $3.50 and $19 per square foot. The total cost depends on the materials you use and labor costs. Flooring and labor are the most expensive parts of the project. Existing structures can also affect the price.

For the framework, search for prefabricated pole barns. Around $20,000 for a huge one. For 2-4k, you could level the ground yourself if you rented the necessary equipment. You may build a foundation for a further five kilometres. It would cost a lot to have it wired with electricity. Sealing and laying the flooring shouldn’t be too difficult. Then the faeces and hoops.

If you were willing to DIY and YouTube part of the job, I believe you could finish it for about 45–65k.
