I recently purchased a brand-new Hyundai Venue (basic model, Essential). I have never owned a Hyundai before. The notice “Battery Discharge Warning” appears each time I park, turn off the engine, and leave the car in accessory mode (to listen to music, unwind, wait for someone, etc.). After starting the car, kindly utilize the system." Other cars I have drove have never had a message like this one. Does this imply a problem with my battery? Alternatively, is it typical and I may leave it in accessory mode (which I seldom do for longer than ten to fifteen minutes)?
Even if you’re not executing a complete backstroke with arm movements, using underwater kicks on your back can effectively propel you forward rapidly after pushing off from the wall.
The “Battery Discharge Warning” message is actually a normal feature, not a sign of a battery problem. It’s Hyundai’s way of reminding you that leaving the car in accessory mode (radio on, etc.) can drain the battery if you do it for too long.
Think of it as a friendly heads-up. 10-15 minutes in accessory mode shouldn’t be an issue, but the warning is there to prevent you from accidentally draining the battery if you forget and leave it on for a long time.
