Is manga reading website safe?

Hey guys, :books: I have recently started reading manga and discovered many websites to access them online. However, I’m a bit worried about the safety of these sites. Are manga-reading websites usually safe? What precautions should I take to avoid malware or scams? I’d love to hear any advice or experiences you have.

While there are many Manga websites available, not all of them are reliable. Some sites engage in piracy and are filled with ads, which can be frustrating for readers.

For instance, a site like Mangakakalot is generally considered a safe site to read manga online. However, it is important to note that as with any website that offers free content, there may be risks associated with pop-up ads or potential malware.

I can immediately think of the following: Dynasty scans (mainly yuri), Bato, To, Mangadex, Mangakakalot, and Mangasee123. There are some others. Additionally, use nyaa if you want official rips. Because of its vast information, Mangadex is arguably the best website overall. Naturally, I have a separate email address for these sites and never use my primary email for them. I advise you to follow suit. Adblockers like UBlock Origin are also recommended, if you don’t already have one.
