I played my first and only round of golf this fall, and now my family has gifted me a net. It looks like I have the green light to keep playing throughout the season.
I have the same net, but don’t use a driver with it. My poor truck ended up with a golf ball through it because the net couldn’t stop a strong drive. I guess excitement got the better of me!

I’ve noticed the material isn’t the strongest. I’ll stick to practicing my chipping for now.

You might want to consider using foam or wiffle golf balls instead. They’re much safer and still provide good feedback on your shots.

Good point, I’m already using mostly wiffle and foam balls.
@Ocean
Careful or you might end up breaking something in the house!
@Ocean
Try draping a heavy blanket over the back of the net for extra protection when using a driver.
Be careful, you might just shoot your eye out with that setup!

I’m taking it really easy, no powerful swings here!
I hope you’re not prone to shanking your shots!

So far, so good. The foam and wiffle balls have been forgiving.
Just a word of advice, don’t go full force in that setup. Keep your swings moderate.

Definitely, I’ve been keeping my backswing pretty short to avoid any mishaps.
Consider investing in some foam balls for practice.
That sounds awesome!
Could you share where you got that net from?

Sure, I’ll get the link from my parents and share it here.
Enjoy your new golfing setup, it might just become your newest addiction!
Good luck with that!
Be cautious, that net might not protect your indoor decor from a stray golf ball.
