I swapped my PC with one from a co-worker because his hardware was more compatible with my workload. I only swapped the files and the PCs. His PC worked fine with me, but mine is double typing (any key, not every time) with his keyboard, and even the keyboard I was using is doing the same thing. I tried using his keyboard on my PC, and it works just fine, which means something is wrong with the computer I was using for no apparent reason. I tried different USB ports and Safe Mode, but that didn’t work. Could it be something related to interference? The power outlet is different. I’m on Windows 10 Latest Version.
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
Go to Control Panel, open the keyboard options (choose ‘icons’ if it’s on ‘category’), and adjust the repeat delay and repeat rate settings. Mine is set 3/4 towards short in delay and all the way to fast in rate.
Try a different USB port and reinstall the keyboard driver.
My keyboard started stuttering too, and I’m now using a software called Keyboard Chattering Fix. I forgot where I got it from, but I just googled it.
