Raum would be a more affordable option compared to Davies, who, despite being a free agent in June, would come with a hefty signing bonus and high salary. Raum, 26, is recovering from an ankle injury that’s kept him out since October, but he’s been a regular in Germany’s senior national team. What do you think of this move? Would Raum be a smart signing?
I’m not sure about Raum, tbh. Davies has more top-level experience, but Raum could be a solid backup. Thoughts?

I get that, but Raum is younger and could develop well with the right coaching. Plus, the price is right.

Yeah, the affordability is a big plus. Davies would probably break the bank, and we need a smart move here.
Anyone know how long Raum will be out with his injury? If it’s a long recovery, that’s a risk.

I think he’s expected back soon. His injury has kept him out since October, so hopefully he’s close to full recovery.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are after Davies too… Man Utd better act fast if they want to secure Raum or Davies.

True, the competition is tough. If they go for Raum, it’s gotta be soon before other clubs get serious.
Davies is the bigger name, but if the price is too much, it’s better to look at Raum. He’s not as flashy, but he can do the job.

Exactly, it’s about balance. If they spend big on Davies, they’ll have less to work with for the rest of the squad.
Does Raum have the pace and attacking ability like Davies? I haven’t watched him much.

He’s fast and good going forward. Not quite as explosive as Davies, but he’s definitely a solid attacker.

He’s decent on the attack and has a good assist record, but Davies might have the edge in pure speed.
