Thanks! It was on a short par 4, about 210 yards. Took a 5-iron, thinking it would come up short, but it went almost pin-high on the fringe, maybe 15-20 feet out. Planned a nice, easy lag putt within 3 feet, but it just rolled right in! Saved the ball, of course.

Found it in the rough recently and dug it out just before teeing off. Now it’s in my display case.

Got some orange ones for around 60 cents each from an Amazon store. I think they were mispriced, but no complaints! Also have Z-Star XVs, but the XVs have more spin near the green.

Congrats! I got my one and only eagle while playing solo… kinda feels like it didn’t count, but hey, I know it happened! Similar situation, too. Last-minute decision for a solo 18, with a windy 250-yard par 4. Wind pushed my drive to just 15 yards from the hole. Smooth chip, and in it went! Double-bogeyed the next, though.
Scored my first hole-in-one with the same Srixon ball!
