I’ve just joined my school’s Energy Law Journal, even though I’m pretty new to energy law. I need to choose a case from 2024 that involves an energy law issue for a major research paper, and I’m feeling a bit lost. The paper is going to require hundreds of hours of work, so I want to pick a topic that’s both interesting and manageable.
Could anyone suggest a compelling case from this year related to energy law that I could focus on?
I’m not up to speed on any big cases from 2024, but there’s always stuff happening with solar access rights. Plus, some red or purple states are trying to shut down wind projects or mess with small solar companies.
If I were you, I’d delete this and make a new post. Don’t mention that you’re just doing this to boost your resume and that energy law bores you. That way, people will be more likely to help out.
Wassup…you might want to look into recent legal battles over renewable energy incentives. There have been some interesting cases this year about how states are handling solar and wind tax credits and subsidies.
Hello0…ave you checked out any recent cases involving energy regulations and climate change policies? There’s been a lot of action around new regulations aimed at reducing carbon emissions that could be worth exploring.
It could be useful to look into any legal disputes related to energy infrastructure projects, like pipelines or power grids. There cud be ongoing cases this year about environmental impacts or land use that could make for a compelling topic.
