I’m curious why someone got rid of the ‘1988’…

If someone would mess with the numbers, it’s probably Prost, but I think he’d go for 1990.

Well, he did score more points than Senna in 1988, so who knows.
Interesting, especially since F1 moved to Melbourne. Not many would see this memorial now.

A lot of people still see it. It’s in a public park that’s used for races and other sports events.
Behind that gate is a school named after him, because he cared about kids.
That wooden post behind the fence, I put it there myself…
Balestre was here
Hearing ‘Tema da Vitoria’ play in my head now.
I’m from Melbourne but I’m planning to go to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival next year. They usually have some old F1 cars (mostly Bennetons). This year, they had the B190, B193, and B200. Bruno Senna showed up too. It’s a long shot, but it’d be amazing if he could drive the MP4/6 there.
I’ll definitely make sure to visit this memorial when I’m there.
