SocialMediaSkeptic Subject - Is This the End of Instagram?

Hey people,

Is anyone else feeling like this might be the end for Instagram? It seems like everyone, including me, is exhausted from constantly producing content and struggling to reach our intended audiences. My feed is filled with nothing of interest or substance—I’m not seeing posts from people I actually know, and it feels like everyone’s just trying to sell me something. The viral content is often just rubbish, and the whole experience feels pretty pointless.

Do you think Instagram is winding down and planning to shift focus to Threads or something else? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this…

I totally agree. It’s hard to get how “consistency is key” when the app itself can’t even be consistent. It’s so frustrating.

Instagram is a scam it is simply a paid advertising platform

I’ve always felt that “consistency is key” is just a way to get people hooked on the app and using it more.

I don’t engage with or appreciate a creator just because they post a lot. I either see value in what they’re doing or I don’t, and that’s what makes me want to support them. “Consistency is key” seems to turn into posting a lot of junk, hoping that it will magically lead to recognition and success.

“Consistency is key”…Me, posting daily for years and getting less engagement and views than ever before, while getting DMs from people asking why I don’t post anymore, only for them to find out that IG just isn’t showing them my content anymore.

Exactly… People will say it’s your content and that you just need to be consistent—total gaslighting :joy::joy::joy:. I guess everyone’s content just sucks, and that’s why we’re not getting the views we deserve. We all fell off.

Consistency is key if you have the lock.

I don’t scroll through Insta content much anymore, but my feed still looks okay. It’s more like window shopping now. It definitely isn’t a place for genuine sharing anymore.
