I’m flying a DJI Air 2S and still pretty new to it. Mostly I’ve been doing mapping and modeling, but I just had to give FPV a go, even if it’s a slow start.
Surprised the controller connection held up in there.

I was wondering the same thing.
If you’re interested in FPV, a small drone like a tinywhoop or something around 2.5-3.5 inches would be a much better starting point than the Air 2S.

Honestly, save yourself some time and money… get a controller and a simulator first.

Could you recommend a good controller? And if you’ve got a link to buy one, that’d be super helpful.
You might find the FPV hobby pretty fun once you get into it.
What kind of drone are you flying?

This was really cool to see.
Looks awesome.
When you tilted the camera up, I was almost expecting something to jump out.

Same… I could practically hear a creepy noise.
Didn’t realise you were in such a tight space! I once tried flying my Mini 2 out of a 36-inch opening, and the prop wash totally flipped it. I was saying to myself, ‘Don’t do it… don’t do it,’ but you got to the end and it turned out to be a huge pipe. Prop wash can be tricky in tight spaces, so definitely be careful.
How did you set the controller link… do you have it on auto or did you lower the frequency to stay connected?
@Lennon
It’s a 10-foot diameter underground storm water tank. I was standing next to the excavator, so I could see down into the whole tank.
That’s amazing. Inside the pipe, I noticed some markings, like graffiti. Such a cool video.

Not actually graffiti, just markers for the sections of the pipe to line them up correctly.
@Rory
Got it, thanks. These days I just assume anything written around is graffiti .
