I’m really enjoying the new season of the show more than the first one, although I feel like the acting could be better at times. What are others thinking about it
I like the show, but I get so annoyed with her back and forth. It’s just a bit silly. She is just so frustrating lol.

Totally agree! It seems like every episode starts with her sharing some emotional dialogue as if she has everything figured out, Billie come on ahahaha
@Joss
The lead actress actually left her husband after three kids in real life, maybe that’s why she wants to show pursuing personal happiness over everything. Nobody is that wise in real life. Everyone else in the show seems to be at fault, her mom, ex-husband, except for her and her questionable ex who suddenly seems like a saint
@Lee
She was also accused by her nanny of not being respectful and making fun of her faith. Plus, she would talk to the nanny about the affair she was having with a famous actor, sharing details that made the nanny uncomfortable. Remember, she was married when this happened and the nanny practiced a conservative form of Islam. Both of them had been accused of disrespecting her modesty too.

that’s an insult to jerks, I’d say she’s more like a nasty racist slug
@Lee
Are you talking about the author of the book, BB Easton, or the actress who played the main character in the show

The actress, Sarah Shahi
I binged through both seasons in just a few days lol. Maybe I need a life. Anyway, Billie’s issues are super annoying but I think it does show how feelings can pull you in different directions. I hate to say it but her son Hudson bugged me so much. His character felt super painful to watch. Everything he said came off as scripted and unrealistic for a kid. Also, Billie and Cooper seemed to ditch their kids to party and sleep with strangers until the end of season 2. Honestly, I did enjoy the show even though it frustrated me at times.
@Chen
Thank goodness someone gets it… for every scene where I got frustrated I thought maybe I just don’t like kids… but that kid was one of the most irritating characters in the show after his mom
This show is terrible and filled with terrible characters. They keep making the same bad choices then act surprised when bad things happen. Billie is by far the most annoying character I’ve seen in a while. She spends time with her kids but then decides to hang out with her new boyfriend instead… who she catches being flirty with some other girl and then just goes off with him like it’s no big deal. The only good thing about this show is the attractive cast who are often naked.
@Marin
Seems like the show is mainly about this immature woman and the only reason to watch is for the nudity if you ask me.
This show reflects real life in some ways
- women preferring the bad guys over the nice guys
- women being unsure of what they want
- her wild past affecting her marriage, showing that she wanted to relive her single days
- good men often feel hurt and jaded because of bad treatment from women
- the concept of alpha widows is definitely real
- the attractiveness of excitement versus stability, Cooper has all the traits women find desirable in a partner but he doesn’t give them the thrill they want.
This show seems to focus on making women sympathize with Billie despite her poor choices, and it’s quite odd.
Loved it and it’s sweet how Brad and Billie are dating for real
