Anyone here with DJI drones? Let me know how this compares.
Honestly, it looks pretty bad if you ask me.

It’s pixelated and the horizon doesn’t seem straight. The dynamic range is poor too. Could be how this forum compresses videos, but it feels like security camera footage.

Still looks the same to me.

Fair enough.
@Quin
The camera is level, but the area has rolling hills.
It seems heavily compressed. Hard to tell if that’s the drone or just how this forum processes videos.

That’s true. I uploaded it to my cloud, but this forum blocks the links for some reason.
@Ari
Wait, the forum blocks cloud storage links? Since when?

It seems like mega.nz is blocked.
This footage looks bad. My old Mavic 1 from 2016 does way better.

Could you explain what’s wrong instead of just saying it’s bad?

It’s overcompressed, the dynamic range is poor, and the colours are dull. Look at footage from a decent drone, and you’ll see what I mean.
@Sam
It could just be how the forum saves space by overcompressing videos. But yeah, it doesn’t look great.
@Sam
This was shot in autumn at twilight. I’ve seen DJI footage from the same time, and I can’t see much difference.

Might be time to get your eyes checked then.
This forum is always going to compress videos. Try uploading it to YouTube.

Better to upload it to cloud storage or a file-sharing site without re-encoding.
