Where are the best thrift stores?

I have lost a lot of weight this year and need to pick up some staples like slacks, a couple of sports coats, and sweaters. Where are your favorite places to thrift?

I second this, if you’re looking for classic thrift VOA is the way to go. There are other places with higher-end selection but for the thrift experience it’s VOA.

While at Westside VOA cross the street to Goodwill next to Meijer, and then like other user said, back down the street towards the city to upscale thrift.

Great little 4 store road there.

Lansing Free & Cheap Store is also good one you can check it out

Someone recommended to me Upscale Thrift Store I’m yet to try it though.

Anybody knows about “St Vincent’s” ? I heard it’s also a good one

For clothes I can recommend Volunteers of America

I recommend you check Goodwill since it offers a wide variety of products at affordable prices and restocking is done regularly so I’m pretty sure you won’t miss what you want.

Rich Salvation Army on St. Clair, next to Forest Hill, is a little store, but throughout the years, they have discovered many jewels. Although it is becoming more expensive now, it is still far superior to consignment. discovered a number of smaller labels in addition to Longchamp, Stella McCartney, Miu Miu, Ulla Johnson, Acne, Gianfranco Ferre, and Armani. It’s best to go between 11 and 1 on weekdays (especially on Tuesdays). While it can be challenging to score on designer and well-known brands because many regulars who are friends with the staff usually get in first, you can still score on newer brands because the majority of the customers are boomers.
