Which CreditCard (s) saved you the most so far this year?

AF / No AF doesn’t matter but are you able to justify the savings with AF if any ?

Cashback/Points/SUB all could be considered.

US Bank Cash + is saving me about $400 a year on utilities. No annual fee.

How? You’d have to be spending $650 a month on utilities.

I have my power, water, YouTube TV, Netflix, etc on there. I’m maxing out this benefit. The only issue is some things don’t code right, but those tend to be like $10 things not $350 things.

Wait, streaming services count as a utility?

No. My two 5% categories are TV, internet and streaming and utilities.

You’re paying $300-$400 PER MONTH on streaming? My lord?!! I’d come out way ahead just reducing that down to what is actually watched. Plenty of alternatives as well. Most of my streaming is literally completely paid for by another cc, my phone service, etc. I don’t think I have a single streaming service that is full price or not paid for by a deal instead. Closest thing is maybe Amazon prime, but that is for a suite of things and not just streaming so even that is somewhat cheap.

I guess I’ll let whoever do whatever, but me, $400 dollars per month on streaming is crazy to me.

I read it and you aren’t clear about payments. You could answer the question with specifics, but don’t so specifics were asked.

He’s likely losing money by not taking advantage of deals. I wouldn’t take him at face value. Th most popular streaming alone can be paid for by cc’sz phone plans, and just deals in general. Sounds like he’s just taking the full rip off prices.

I’d focus on deals first. He’s paying over 8 grand in what he calls utilities. Almost $700 a month in em in fact. That’s crazy when yhre are all sorts of deals and ways to save on that. Take his stuff with a grain of salt.

During the summer where I live, electric alone can be $900 if you want it to be mid to high 70s indoors
