So, I had dinner at Hell’s Kitchen last week, and wow, it was a whole experience. We were seated right by the pass, so we saw Marco and the celebs cooking in action. Kinda hard to chat when you’re just glued to watching everything go down lol. But here’s the wild part: after the show, the celebs were scrubbing the kitchen for hours. Seeing Linda Evans (yeah, Crystal from Dynasty) cleaning ovens was… surreal. Anyone else had a weird or cool experience there?
Wait, the celebs actually clean the kitchen?? I always thought they’d just dip out after filming.
Yeah, seriously! They were there for hours cleaning. I guess they want to make sure it’s spotless before they leave. Wild, right?
LOL, I’d love to see that. What was Linda Evans doing? Oven duty?
Yep! Full-on oven scrubbing. It’s so weird seeing someone that glamorous just doing regular chores.
How was the food though? Was it as fancy as it looks on TV?
It was good overall. The smoked salmon starter was solid, but not mind-blowing—like a 6/10 kinda thing. And the main was seared tuna, but it had olives all over it… IDK, olives just aren’t my thing, so I wasn’t impressed.
6/10?? Thought you were at a fancy place lol. What’s the deal with the olives?
Yeah, I know right? It’s just that olives aren’t for me, so I brushed them off. Fennel was on the plate too—tastes like aniseed, which I’m not crazy about either.
What’s fennel taste like again? Aniseed? Not sure I’ve had it.
Yeah, exactly! Aniseed’s kinda like licorice… not a fan lol.
Omg, did you try the dessert? They’re always hyping it up on the show.
Yeah, it was a trifle by Danielle Bux. Funny thing is, I hate trifle, but I actually didn’t hate this one. That’s saying a lot coming from me lol.
Lmao, ‘I hate trifle but didn’t hate this.’ That’s like a glowing review for trifle standards!
Did Danielle know you liked it?
Yep! They read out my comment card the next day, so I guess she saw it. She looked pretty stressed all night, so I was glad she got some positive feedback.
What’s with them giving you diet coke in a wine glass? That’s so random.
I know right? I guess they wanted to keep the whole vibe consistent, like everyone’s feasting and having fun even if you’re not drinking.
That’s actually kinda smart. Makes you feel like part of the experience even if you’re not drinking.
Did you run into anyone cool while you were there?
