Hey Techsupport, I need some help here. Every time I open a new MP3 file with VLC or Windows Media Player, this embarrassing NSFW cover art pops up. I have no clue how this cover art got selected in the first place. I’ve looked through a ton of guides, but they only explain how to change the cover art for files I already have, not for new ones. I need to fix this ASAP because it’s a photo that people shouldn’t see when they look over my shoulder on my PC.
Ugh, that sounds super awkward. Have you tried clearing the media cache in your player? Sometimes that helps.
Yeah, exactly! Look for any ‘folder.jpg’ or similar files and delete them.
You can also try renaming the MP3 files to force a refresh. It might help with the cover art issue.
Interesting idea! I’ll give that a shot too.
If all else fails, try reinstalling the media player. Sometimes that can reset weird settings.
True! But back up your settings first if you have any playlists you want to keep.
Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. Just be sure to check your media library settings too.
Thanks! I appreciate the support. I’ll check everything out.
