Just got my first ever brand new club from the PGA Superstore, but they didn’t include a headcover or wrench with it. I was hoping to adjust it to 10.5 right out of the box, but no biggie. Still, I’m excited to test it out on the course.
Finding a wrench should be easy since they’re universal. I’ve had this driver for a couple of years and absolutely love it!

I picked up a Nike wrench for just $4 on Global Golf. It came really fast and works great with my TaylorMade driver. At first, I thought it wasn’t a torque wrench because it needed more force than expected, but it’s perfect.
@Finley
Be careful with Cobra wrenches. I’ve stripped two screws this season, needing a new adapter each time. Super frustrating!

That happened to me too. Did you have to take it to a shop to fix it?

Are all driver screws the same, or do they vary by manufacturer?

A Dewalt T25 bit does the trick!

Here comes Srixon!
I’m holding out for a Darkspeed on sale, they look incredible. My current Cobra driver is amazing, can’t see myself switching brands anytime soon.

Check out Golf Town, they’ve got big discounts on Darkspeeds right now.
@Noa
Thanks for the tip, I’ll take a look!

I just got a mint condition one from 2nd Swing for a steal. It was supposedly used but came with the plastic still on, although it looked like they might have swapped the shaft.
They really should have included a head cover at least. These days, wrenches aren’t commonly included anymore. You can use any brand’s wrench—they all fit the same.

Yeah, they’re all T25 size.

You use an impact driver on your clubs?! Why risk damaging your gear just to save a little effort?
@Pax
I only use it to quickly remove the head when changing shafts, not for regular adjustments. Power tools can be safe if used correctly.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Those wrenches are designed to prevent overtightening for a reason.
I just got one of these too! My best drive so far was 112 yards, but I’ve only had a couple of lessons. Here’s to improving!

The more you spend, the further you’ll drive, right? Maybe it’s time for an upgrade to boost those numbers!
@Skyler
Haha, I might have annoyed the golf gods with my bargain buy. Can’t wait for my coach to see the mark on the top of my driver.
