Help! My daughter might get expelled for something she didn’t even do?

Hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a bind here. My 14-year-old daughter was in the bathroom with another kid who got caught with a THC vape. She had nothing on her, and both her blood and urine tests came back clean. Now the school is trying to expel her for possession. Is this legal? I’m really stressed and could use some advice.

That sounds really unfair… I can’t believe they’d go for expulsion without solid proof. Have they given you details about what they found?

Right? It seems like they should need actual evidence before making such a big decision.

Totally! Just being in the bathroom with someone doesn’t mean anything. Did they say what proof they have?

I feel for you… there should be a way to appeal or at least defend her. Have you talked to anyone about it?

Not yet, they’re just sending it to the school board for review. It feels so unfair.

I’d definitely look into talking to an attorney about this. She deserves a fair chance!

Document everything you can. If they’re pushing for expulsion, it’s worth having everything in writing!

Good point! I’ll make sure to keep track of all the details.

For sure! Plus, gather any evidence that proves she wasn’t involved.

Just a heads up, schools usually need pretty clear evidence to expel someone. Hope it works out for her!

Exactly! That’s what I keep telling myself. Fingers crossed they see it my way.
