So, apparently Manchester United is all in on getting Geovany Quenda from Sporting Portugal. The Red Devils are ready to drop €60 million plus bonuses to get him, but it won’t happen until the end of the season. I guess they want to give him time to finish the season with Sporting, which makes sense, right? Especially since he’s only 17, and they don’t wanna mess with his momentum. But the big question is, will he join right after the season ends? Seems like the presence of Rúben Amorim at United might play a big role in this. He was the one who promoted Quenda to the first team and still has a lot of faith in him. Anyone else following this move? Wondering how it’ll go down
I think it’s a smart move for United. If they wait until the end of the season, Quenda gets to finish strong with Sporting. Plus, Amorim’s there now, so I’m guessing that’ll help him settle in quicker.

Yeah, and he’s been killing it at 17, right? 19 matches, 2 goals, and 2 assists? That’s impressive for a kid his age. I’m curious if he can keep that up in the Premier League though.

Definitely, but tbh, the Premier League is a different beast. If he can handle the pressure, though, it’ll be a game-changer for United.
Wait, did I read that right? €60 million plus bonuses? That’s a huge amount for a 17-year-old… Does he even have that much experience yet?

Yeah, it’s a lot, but Quenda has been solid for Sporting. And at 17, he’s already getting called up for the U21 national team, so they see potential. The price could be worth it if he develops well.
I’m a bit skeptical. €60 million seems like a lot for someone who’s just started playing in the first team. What do you guys think?

I get your point, but considering his potential, it’s not too surprising. Young, talented players these days are going for crazy amounts. Hopefully, he lives up to it.
Has anyone else noticed how much talent is coming out of Portugal lately? This kid could be another one of those stars who shine in the Premier League.

Yeah, Portugal’s been producing some serious talent recently! If Quenda adapts well, he could be the next big thing for United.
What exactly does Amorim bring to the table for Quenda? Does anyone know more about their relationship?

Amorim was the one who promoted Quenda to the first team at Sporting, so they’ve got a solid connection. Amorim’s confidence in him is a huge factor in United’s interest. Could be a big boost for Quenda if he joins.
