A huge fan of Monster energy drinks over here, and I have to say, the original flavor is still my top choice of all time.av tried a lot of different energy drinks, but nothing beats the classic Monster for me. av also given the Zero Sugar Original a shot, and it’s pretty good too.
However, I’m curious—has anyone found a flavor from Monster that you think is even better than this, the original? I’m always open to trying new flavors, but I’m yet to find one that surpasses the classic. Would love to hear your recommendations…
Honestly,… this is the worst flavor in my opinion. The citrus taste is barely there, and it doesn’t really stand out. I’d skip it if I were you—there are definitely better options out there.
Not really. There are other good flavors out there bruv, but OG Monster is definitely the best. It’s like how food peaked for me at 4 years old with Little Caesars. It’s still my fave, but I’ve had so much of it that I’m up for trying new stuff, you dig?
Original Monster Assault is the greatest energy drink of all time. The only thing that even comes close is Lucky F*cks (now just Lucky with a bar over the “f”). That’s OG luck. Not sure if it’s just in Texas or if it’s available across the States now.
I absolutely love OG Monster, but has anyone else noticed that it seems way more sensitive to temperature? It feels like it gets flat and tastes different really quickly in the heat. I used to sip on a can for hours at work, no problem, but now I basically have to chug it in under an hour, or it starts tasting weird.
Am also a fan of the OG Rockstar. This past week, I’ve been on a nostalgia trip, trying OG Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, NOS, Amp, and Full Throttle. OG Red Bull and Rockstar are my top favorites, with Monster coming in a close third. After that, it’s Full Throttle, Amp, and then NOS…
But it’s not that artificial orange flavor; actually tasting more like real orange juice or something. I had original NOS just last week, and it finally hit me after having a small glass of orange juice that morning.
