I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 4.3L. Everything was working fine, but I swapped out the catalytic converters and welded them in. Now all the gauges are fine except for the speedometer,it’s stuck at over 100mph and won’t move. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Might be coincidence, but the gauge motors often fail and cause this kind of issue.
