I started helping as a mod here a couple of weeks ago after I got frustrated with all the bot spam. Since then, I’ve banned almost a hundred accounts that were only here for self-promotion without actually joining discussions. I’ve also blacklisted a bunch of domains and removed posts that looked like ads.
To improve things even more, I’ve set up two weekly threads. On Tuesdays, people can ask for AI tools to help with specific problems. On Thursdays, there’s a space for promoting your products.
Soon, I’ll be adding automations to remove posts that belong in these threads. I hope this will make the forum better and stop people who don’t even try searching online before posting questions here.
If you notice anything that’s off, please report it so I can check it out faster. Thanks for your support!

What if a competitor hires bots to make it look like my product is spamming? How would you handle that?
That’s something I’ve thought about, but honestly, I’m not too worried. This forum isn’t meant to be an advertising platform for anyone. If your product gets banned for some reason, it’s not the end of the world.

If they’re advertising for you and you weren’t planning to do it yourself, then either your product name gets filtered—which doesn’t matter since you weren’t going to post—or you get free advertising. Seems like a win either way.
