Hello, This week, I will be taking my Toefl iBT at home, but there are a few technical questions I have. I have already downloaded the Guardian and ETS Secure browsers, but other than saying that I would use the Guardian browser to talk to my proctor, there is no information on how to utilize it. I am aware that I must finish the exam using the ETS browser, but should I also use the Guardian browser? If so, in what way? Thank you for your responses in advance.

Oh, do not worry. Once you contact your proctor, he will request permission to access your computer and set it up for you. Your first and most critical step is to make contact with your proctor. The rest is simply a matter of sliding. Good luck!

Is anyone else’s camera failing while testing equipment? My webcam lights up but does not appear on their list. Neither do my speakers or microphones.

I did the test today and had that exact same issue

You should definitely use the Guardian browser because it simplifies the exam launch system and optimizes testing performance.
