I’m really at my wit’s end with how my ADA accommodation request is being handled. I feel like having the CHO involved is why things are going south. Shouldn’t the LOA specialist be taking care of this? Is this even allowed under the ADA?
That sounds really frustrating… It definitely seems like the CHO’s involvement could complicate things. Have you brought this up with HR?

Exactly! Having a specialist is supposed to keep things fair. Why mess with that?
@Lex
Right? I thought we were supposed to have an unbiased process. What should I do next?
Sounds like a mess… If you have evidence that other managers got accommodations without a hitch, that could be a game changer for you.

Definitely! Documenting everything is so important. It can really help back up your claims.

What kind of proof do you have? Like messages or something?
@Marlow
Yeah, anything that shows how other people were treated. That might strengthen your case.
Sorry you’re dealing with this… Have you thought about consulting a lawyer if they keep pushing back?

I might have to if they don’t change their tune soon. Just want a fair chance with all this.
Yeah, you deserve to feel supported, especially with health concerns. Keep fighting for what you need!
Don’t give up… You have every right to ask for what you need, especially given your situation.
