Why is my dog suddenly so picky about food?

I have a 15lb mixed breed dog who has been eating Purina standard dog chow for the first 8-9 years, then switched to Costco’s Kirkland dry food. In 2020, I got a cat for her to be friends with. But since early this year, she’s become super picky and won’t eat any Purina now.

All I know she will eat for sure is Catit cat gravy, Temptations cat treats, dried cow ears, cheese, and bread.

Can anyone suggest something healthier for her? I really want to try something better.

She refuses:
Arcana, Blue Buffalo dry, Purina One canned.

She has had canned whole pet food from Whole Foods before, but it would be nice to get that regularly without carrying it all the way home from the grocery store, which is far. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just stick to Purina and stop giving her cat food or anything from that side of the menu.

She keeps stealing the cat food! I can start feeding the cat up on a higher surface. But I was hoping there was a dog food kind of like those cat treats…

Just wish there was a dog food she could enjoy like that.

Nope. That would be like feeding your kid only chips and Rice Krispies every day. Not good for them.

Try Taste of the Wild, it’s way better than Purina.
