If it’s overheating, that usually means there’s high resistance, which indicates a poor connection. You might want to check the connections on that line.
Are you seeing the overheating on the input or output ground? If it’s the input, make sure the connections to the stock signal are secure. For the output, have you checked your speaker resistance to see if it’s within the DSP spec? Just throwing out some ideas here.
What type of speakers are you using? Are they stock speakers?

I’m using Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII component speakers in the front and Pioneer TS-1687S in the back.
Just curious, which DSP amp do you have running?
