Why is there a scene with Nikki Griffin painting her toenails?

So I just watched Tokyo Drift again and I can’t help but wonder… why do we see Nikki Griffin in that short skirt painting her toenails? Feels kinda random, right? Anyone else think so?

Lol, I noticed that too. It seemed out of place. Like, what was the point?

Right? I guess they were trying to add some eye candy? :joy:

IDK, maybe it was just filler? Not that I’m complaining, lol.

Honestly, I feel like that scene was just for the visual. Like, we get it, she’s pretty.

Yeah, but it doesn’t really add to the story, does it?

Exactly. Just a random moment that kinda breaks the flow, lol.

I mean, I guess it appeals to a certain audience? But still feels weird.

Totally. Like, I’m here for the cars, not the toe painting, lol.

Maybe it was just a way to show her character? Not sure it worked though.

Yeah, I didn’t really get her character from that scene, honestly.
