Hi there, and thanks for playing! This page covers everything you need to know to get the most out of Qwizzer, from earning XP to climbing the leaderboard to challenging your friends. Grab a coffee, take a read, and then go show off what you know.
If anything here is confusing, or if you think of a feature we should add, please tell us. There is a feedback box at the end of every quiz, and we genuinely read every single one. This site gets better because of what you tell us, so do not be shy.
HOW XP WORKS
XP (experience points) is how we track your progress and rank you on the leaderboard. You earn XP every time you complete a quiz, and the better you do, the more you earn.
Here is the breakdown:
You earn 50 XP for every question you answer correctly. A solid 8 out of 10 quiz already nets you 400 XP before any bonuses.
Score a perfect 100%? You get a 200 XP bonus on top of your regular points. Perfect scores are one of the best ways to boost your total fast.
Answer quickly and accurately and you can earn a speed bonus. If your average time per question is under 5 seconds and you are doing well, you will pick up extra XP for being sharp on your feet.
Keep your play streak alive for 7 days or more and you will start earning a streak bonus on top of everything else. Consistency pays off.
None of these bonuses are exclusive, they all stack. A fast, perfect quiz on a 7 day streak earns considerably more than the same quiz played slowly on day one.
LEVELS
As you rack up XP, you level up. Your level shows up on your profile and tells everyone at a glance roughly how experienced a player you are. There is no ceiling, so keep playing and keep climbing.
BADGES
Badges are special achievements you unlock by hitting certain milestones. Most badges also hand you a chunk of bonus XP the moment you earn them, so they are not just for show, they genuinely help you climb faster too.

First Shot - complete your first quiz
Getting Warmer - complete 5 quizzes
Regular - complete 25 quizzes
Centurion - complete 100 quizzes
Hat Trick - keep a 3 day play streak
On Fire - keep a 7 day play streak
Unstoppable - keep a 30 day play streak
Legendary - keep a 100 day play streak
Perfectionist - score 100% on a quiz
Flawless Five - score 100% on 5 quizzes
Hot Streak - get 10 correct answers in a row
Answer Machine - get 50 correct answers in a row
Scholar - earn 1,000 total XP
Genius - earn 10,000 total XP
Speed Demon - score 80% or higher with an average under 5 seconds per question
Social Butterfly - invite 5 friends who join and play
Founding Member - be one of our first 100 members
You can see all the badges you have earned, and the ones still waiting for you, right on your profile.
STREAKS
Playing at least one quiz every day keeps your streak alive. Miss a day and it resets back to zero, so if you are chasing a streak badge, try to make Qwizzer part of your daily routine. Your current streak and your longest ever streak both show up on your profile, so you can always see how you are doing against your own best.
THE LEADERBOARD
The leaderboard shows how you stack up against everyone else, sorted by total XP, longest streak, quizzes played, perfect scores, and more depending on which tab you check. Tap any player on the leaderboard to visit their profile, see their stats, and (if challenges are turned on) challenge them to a quiz.
CHALLENGING OTHER PLAYERS
Think you can out-quiz a friend? Visit their profile or tap the fist bump icon next to their name on the leaderboard to send them a challenge. You will pick a wager (how much XP is on the line) and how many questions you want to play. Once you send it, you immediately play your half of the challenge.
Your opponent gets an email and a notification on their home screen letting them know they have been challenged. Once they play their half too, whoever scored higher wins the wagered XP, and it gets deducted from whoever scored lower. If you tie, no XP changes hands.
A few things worth knowing: challenges use a fresh set of random questions (or a specific category, if your site allows choosing one), nobody can see the other person's score until both of you have finished, and challenges expire after a set time if your opponent never responds, in which case no XP changes hands either.
You can keep an eye on all your pending and past challenges from the My Challenges link in the menu.
REPLAYING OLD QUIZZES
Curious how you would do on a quiz you already played, or want to try one you missed? If replay is enabled on your site, you can revisit past quizzes from another player's profile. Replays are just for fun. They do not affect your XP, streaks, or stats, so feel free to use them to sharpen up on topics you are weaker in.
YOUR PROFILE AND PRIVACY
Your profile shows off your level, XP, streak, badges, and quiz history to anyone who visits it, but you are always in control. Head to your profile settings and you can choose whether your stats and challenge history are visible to others, and whether other players are allowed to challenge you at all. Being more private will not stop you from playing or from challenging other people yourself, it just controls what others can see about you.
TIPS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF QWIZZER
Play every day, even just one quiz, to build your streak and unlock the streak badges.
Slow down on questions you are unsure about, but speed through the ones you know. The speed bonus rewards confidence, not recklessness.
Keep an eye on your weaker categories using replays, and use that knowledge before you accept a category-specific challenge.
Check the leaderboard regularly. Seeing where you rank is one of the best motivators to play just one more quiz.
If you spot a question with a wrong answer or a typo, flag it right from the results page. We review every report, and fixing bad questions makes the whole game better for everyone.
