Is this a coyote, fox, or dog spotted in Georgia, USA?

I’m leaning towards coyote, definitely too tall for a fox.

Definitely a coyote

That’s a coyote for sure.

Coyote

Yote

Definitely a coyote! Foxes have shorter legs and smaller faces. Coyotes have a more pointed nose and more upright ears.

Coyote. One attacked my small dog, but my larger dog managed to fight it off. It was terrifying.

Yikes! Thank goodness your dog was there!

You should defend your pets yourself. If any animal attacks, they should fear your wrath.

@Ember
I tried, but it wasn’t fazed by my attempts. My dog intervened quickly.

Martial arts training helps. No dog can withstand a well-placed kick.

@Ember
Haha, love the determination! You’re ready to take on anything, even a bear!

I would defend against any threat, even with lethal force if necessary.

@Ember
It’s easy to judge from afar. My pets knew I’d protect them no matter what.

Absolutely, I’d defend my pets from any predator.

Coyote

That’s a coyote. They’re common here and known for climbing fences to reach prey.

They can even climb trees here in Southern California.
